The Brain and Stress
The brain constantly assesses our internal and external experiences to respond accordingly.
The brain keeps information gained through different experiences and refers to the information to predict the future and determine the course of action.
When the brain senses a threat, regardless if the threat is real or perceived, our system will be ready to respond for survival.
